You can tell that the original recording was excellent (I reckon a radio broadcast rather than mixing desc), and it's a superb performance, but this sounds like it's a generation or two down the road and also suffers to some extent from electronic 'scratches', on Dazed and Confused in particular. Apparently this is also the case on the original. My hi-fi CD player seems to have different levels of problems with it at different times, so maybe it *is* rescuable.
